Last night I sang “September” and “Let’s Groove” for Verdine White & Ralph Johnson of one of my favorite bands Earth Wind & Fire . I told them right before this picture that 2 weeks ago my 3 year old was humming “September” out of the blue and I knew I was doing something right as a parent! We all laughed and I realized a week after that proud moment I was asked to sing in this all-star band for their tribute. Life does work in mysterious ways and you never know how the beauty will unfold. So I took this picture for my sons who probably willed it to happen!
