Vocalist Destani Wolf is home in The Bay Area to share a night of celebratory music with warmth and joy to put you into the holiday spirit.

Powerhouse Vocalist Destani Wolf is celebrated by Jazz Times as one of the “West Coast’s most inventive vocalists…also an accomplished improviser.” Known for her genre-defying sound, effortless vocal range, and authentic lyrics, she regularly performs with the legendary Bobby McFerrin and has been featured on three Grammy-nominated albums. With over 40 album credits, Destani has collaborated with artists like John Santos, Oscar Hernandez, John Cale, Jose Rizo’s Mongorama, The Pharcyde and more. Her journey spans global tours as Cirque du Soleil’s lead vocalist in BAZZAR and innovative collaborations with the Bandaloop Aerial Dance Company.
This holiday season, Destani brings her latest project, Jazz Serenata with Holiday Soul, to SFJAZZ Center—a night filled with originals, jazz standards with latin vibes to bring us together to feel the holiday spirit. Raised in Berkeley on her parents’ soul and Latin records and the Bay’s rich music culture, Destani developed her unique Cali-soul sound, enriched by time in Mexico where she connected with her heritage through ranchera classics, further deepened her artistry.Early in her career she refined her voice in the underground hip-hop, jazz, a cappella and blues scene. Her path has seen her perform and record worldwide, supporting legends like Seal, Zap Mama, Taj Mahal, Talib Kweli, Seu Jorge and more.
As a Professor at the San Francisco Music Conservatory, Destani balances teaching with performing in McFerrin’s MOTION and as Cirque du Soleil’s on-call vocalist and composing and recording for TV and Film including Disney’s “The Descendants,” Kevin Hart’s “Laugh at my Pain,” HBO’s “Momentum Generation,” “So You Think You Can Dance,” and more. With remarkable vocal prowess, Destani connects with audiences and is a conduit to spiritual awakening through her music.
