Artistic Director Melecio Estrella describes his work as, “focusing on human/land relationships in our time of co-arising climate and social crises.”
Somewhere to Land is a new work inspired by the city of Alameda’s visionary plan to transform a portion of the former naval air station at Alameda Point into an ecological park. Taking root in hopes for rewilding and for sustainable futures, Somewhere to Land will be performed on the metal façade of Hangar 25, one of two buildings which have been slated for demolition to allow for the construction of the future ‘De-Pave Park.’

Enjoy drinks from Hangar 25 resident companies Urban Legend Cellars, Dashe Cellars, and neighbors Almanac Brewery available from the event bar on site.

Entry is free with RSVP; all ages are welcome! Please bring your own blankets or folding chairs if required.

VIP Tickets include a complimentary drink and a deluxe chair (and our gratitude for your support). Optional add on: 5:30pm / 6pm St. George Distillery Tour.

Group “Creative Spirits” Packages are a perfect team building experience and include V.I.P. seats to the performance, distillery tours, local wines and bites.
